Take-back and Recycling for used Refrigerants

Your benefits
- Take-back of all A refrigerants (except R23).
- Adherence to legal requirements.
- Uncomplicated processing.
Used refrigerants (refrigerants with oil and water content) are produced during the disposal, retrofitting and repair of systems.
Our take-back service guarantees that these are recycled in conformity with the law. The item is returned in specially marked containers, so-called "R" containers, including an officially prescribed take-over certificate with waste designation and waste code number, which serves as proof of proper recycling of the refrigerants.
How it works
Fill used refrigerant into "R" container
Handover the "R" containers to Schick
Issue of the take-over certificate
Feeding for proper recycling
Our "R" container sizes
(Filling level = 75% of the litre volume in kg)
The containers are marked with "R" and are not cleaned.
The authorised filling weight, max. 75% of the litre volume in kg, must not be exceeded (risk of bursting). In order to avoid damage to the system, refrigerants from R-containers should not be refilled into systems.
