Heat transfer fluids

Antifrogen® N

Versatile use

Antifrogen® N is a universal ethylene glycol-based refrigerant and heat transfer fluid with highly efficient corrosion protection additives.

Antifrogen® N when mixed with water provides reliable and long-lasting protection for closed heating and cooling circuits against frost, corrosion, and deposits and is used in a diverse range of applications such as air conditioning in buildings, temperature control of industrial processes or component cooling in manufacturing technology.

  • Appearance: light yellow liquid
  • Ethylene glycol base
  • Contains highly efficient corrosion inhibitors
  • Fulfils and exceeds ASTM D 1384-05 Corrosion Test Standard
  • Corrosion inhibition free from borate, phosphate, nitrite, amine, silicate and CMR substances (carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic)
  • Minimum deployment concentration: 20 % v/v Antifrogen® N in water (equivalent to freezing point of approx. -9°C)
  • Continuous operating temperatures: approx. -50°C to +150°C
  • Produced exclusively with high quality, pure glycol
  • Available both as a concentrate and in various water mixtures.

Antifrogen® SOL HT

For solar systems

Antifrogen® SOL HT is a physiologically harmless, yellowish clear liquid based on an aqueous solution of higher boiling glycols. Antifrogen® SOL HT was specially developed for the use with high temperature requirements, such as in solar installations. The product is adjusted to a frost resistance of -23°C with deionised (fully demineralised) water.

Antifrogen® SOL HT is inhibited free of nitrite, borate, phosphate and silicate, contains neither CMR substances (carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic) nor other substances limited in use according to EC Directive 2011/65/EC, Article 4 §1.

  • Base: higher boiling glycols with corrosion inhibitors
  • Minimum deployment concentration: Mixed ready for use
  • Continuous operating temperatures: approx. -23 to + 200°C
